Cisco Meraki MR46 / MR46E Access Points - Refurbished, Used, New

The Cisco Meraki MR46 and MR46E are high-performance Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) indoor access points managed from the Meraki cloud dashboard, with four spatial streams on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, a 2.5 Gbps multigigabit uplink and a dedicated radio that scans full time for security threats. They are built for the densest indoor spaces: open-plan offices, lecture halls, conference centers, hospitals and large retail floors. The MR46 has internal antennas; the MR46E takes external antennas for high ceilings and aimed coverage. NetworkTigers sells the MR46-HW and MR46E-HW refurbished, used and new, unclaimed so you can claim them into your own Meraki organization, tested by our technicians and backed by a 365-day warranty.

MR46 or MR46E?

  • MR46: internal antennas, ceiling, wall or desk mount. The choice for offices, classrooms and meeting spaces.
  • MR46E: the same radios with external antenna connections. Pair it with omnidirectional or patch antennas for warehouses, gyms, auditoriums and other high-ceiling or oddly shaped spaces.

If you need 4x4 on 5 GHz but only 2x2 on 2.4 GHz, see the MR44. For outdoor coverage, see MR76.

Frequently asked questions

Will the MR46 run on a standard 802.3af PoE switch?
No. Meraki specifies 802.3at PoE+ for the MR46 and MR46E. Use a PoE+ switch, a PoE+ injector or a compatible 12 V DC adapter, sold separately.

What antennas does the MR46E need?
Use a compatible six-connection MA-ANT-3 antenna set so all six ports are connected. Choose the antenna pattern for the room: omnidirectional for broad coverage, or a suitable patch antenna where coverage must be aimed. Antennas are sold separately unless the individual listing says they are included. See our Meraki antennas.

The MR46E mounts with the MA-MNT-MR-18 kit, listed on this page; the MR46 uses the MA-MNT-MR-15 kits listed with the MR44.
