The Cisco GLC-FE-100FX-RGD is a ruggedized SFP transceiver manufactured by Cisco. It uses the small-form-factor pluggable (SFP) format and supports 100 Mbps BASE-FX Ethernet over multimode fiber.
This module connects via LC duplex connectors and operates over short reach distances on MMF cabling. Designed for harsh conditions, it meets industrial temperature specifications, making it suitable for deployments requiring wide operating tolerances. Compatible with standard Fast Ethernet ports supporting BASE-FX interfaces within supported Cisco switches or routers using empty SFP slots. Power supplied through the host device; no external power source required.
