The Arista DCS-7280SR3-48YC8-R is a fixed-form-factor switch featuring 48x 25G SFP28 and 8x 100G QSFP28 ports with back-to-front airflow. It delivers up to 2.0 Tbps switching capacity (4.0 Tbps full duplex) and supports packet forwarding at line rate of up to 1 Bpps.
This model includes dual power supplies, offers hardware support for large-scale L2/L3 routing tables, including IPv4 unicast routes (L3: 1450000; balanced: 800000), and provides a total buffer size of 4 GB across its ASICs. Port density allows fitting into high-density spine or leaf deployments using standard rack mounting in data center environments requiring low latency from as little as 3.8 µs per port hop transition time.
