The Cisco Meraki MR44-HW is a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) indoor access point for busy offices, classrooms, clinics, and shops, managed from the Meraki cloud dashboard. It runs four spatial streams on 5 GHz and two on 2.4 GHz, for up to 2.7 Gbps combined radio rate, and connects through a 2.5 Gbps multigigabit uplink.
It ships with an MA-MNT-MR-15 mounting bracket for wall or ceiling installation, and it is sold unclaimed so you can claim it into your own Meraki organization.
The MR44 has four radios: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios for clients, a dedicated radio that scans full-time for security threats and RF interference, and a Bluetooth Low Energy radio. Power it with 802.3at PoE+ for full performance. On standard 802.3af PoE it runs in low-power mode, with 2x2 on 5 GHz, a 1 Gbps uplink, and the scanning and Bluetooth radios turned off.
Choose the MR44 when many users share the same space and most of them connect on 5 GHz. A Meraki license is required and is sold separately. Covered by our 365-day warranty.
