The Cisco Meraki MR46-HW is a high-performance Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) indoor access point managed from the Meraki cloud dashboard. It is built for the busiest indoor spaces: open-plan offices, lecture halls, conference centers, hospitals, and retail floors where hundreds of devices share the air on both bands.
It runs 4x4:4 on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, for up to 2.98 Gbps combined radio rate, plus a dedicated dual-band radio that scans full-time for security threats and RF interference, and a Bluetooth Low Energy radio. It connects through a 2.5 Gbps multigigabit uplink (RJ45) and needs 802.3at PoE+ (30 W maximum) or a 12 V DC adapter.
Choose the MR46 over the MR44 when 2.4 GHz clients matter as much as 5 GHz: it runs four spatial streams on both bands, whereas the MR44 runs two on 2.4 GHz.
