The Arista SFP-25G-MR-XSR is a 10/25 Gbps SFP transceiver manufactured by Arista Networks. It features an SFP form factor and supports transmission speeds of 10 or 25 Gigabits per second over multimode fiber using an 850 nm wavelength.
This module operates with duplex LC connectors and supports cable distances up to 300 meters on OM4 MMF cabling. Compatible with standard Ethernet switches supporting the IEEE specifications for both SR (Short Range) at these data rates, it enables high-speed connections in rack-to-rack deployments within datacenters. The unit uses hot-pluggable electrical interface via the compatible network switch port and draws power directly from the hosting device without requiring external input modules or adapters.
