SonicWall 01-SSC-3215 is the NSa 3650 HA unit, the high availability version of the NSa 3650, a 1U rack-mount firewall with four 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports, twelve 1 GbE RJ45 ports, two 10 GbE SFP+ ports and eight 2.5 GbE SFP ports, plus a 1 GbE management port, a console port and two USB ports. It pairs with a standard NSa 3650 to form an Active/Passive cluster with state synchronization that keeps traffic flowing if the primary unit fails. It is rated at 3.75 Gbps firewall inspection throughput and 1.75 Gbps threat prevention throughput, with application inspection at 2.1 Gbps, IPS at 1.8 Gbps and anti-malware at 1.5 Gbps.
IPSec VPN throughput reaches 1.5 Gbps and TLS/SSL inspection 320 Mbps, and the unit handles 14,000 new connections per second. It has 32 GB of built-in SSD storage and two power supply bays with one AC supply fitted. The NSa 3650 supports up to 3,000 site-to-site VPN tunnels, 500 IPSec VPN clients out of the box with room for 3,000, and 2 SSL VPN users expandable to 500. It manages up to 96 SonicPoint or SonicWave access points as a wireless controller. Active/Active DPI and Active/Active clustering are available with an additional license. It suits mid-size organizations and distributed enterprise sites with 10 GbE uplinks. The appliance measures 16.9 x 12.8 x 1.8 inches and weighs 11.7 lb. This unit is transfer ready, so its registration moves to the buyer's MySonicWall account, where support, subscriptions and warranty can be added.
