SonicWall 01-SSC-1939 is the NSa 5650, a 1U rack-mount firewall with two 10 GbE RJ45 ports, four 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports, sixteen 1 GbE RJ45 ports, two 10 GbE SFP+ ports and four 2.5 GbE SFP ports, plus a 1 GbE management port, a console port and two USB ports. It is rated at 6.25 Gbps firewall inspection throughput and 3.4 Gbps threat prevention throughput, with application inspection at 4.25 Gbps, IPS at 3.4 Gbps and anti-malware at 2.8 Gbps.
IPSec VPN throughput reaches 3.5 Gbps and TLS/SSL inspection 800 Mbps, and the unit handles 40,000 new connections per second. It has 64 GB of built-in SSD storage and two power supply bays with one 350W AC supply fitted. The NSa 5650 supports up to 6,000 site-to-site VPN tunnels, 2,000 IPSec VPN clients out of the box with room for 6,000, and 2 SSL VPN users expandable to 1,500. It manages up to 192 SonicPoint or SonicWave access points as a wireless controller. Active/Active DPI and Active/Active clustering are available with an additional license. It suits large enterprise and campus deployments. The appliance measures 16.9 x 16.3 x 1.8 inches and weighs 15.2 lb. This unit is transfer ready, so its registration moves to the buyer's MySonicWall account, where support, subscriptions and warranty can be added.
