The Cisco SFP-10G-SR-S BASE-SR is a high-performance transceiver module with 10 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) networks. Its small form-factor pluggable (SFP+) design offers hot-swappable capability and flexibility in network deployments.
It delivers reliable connectivity over multimode fiber cables up to a distance of approximately 300 meters. This makes it ideal for short-range applications within data centers or campus environments requiring large bandwidth. The Cisco SFP-10G-SR-S supports full-duplex operation up to 10 Gbps.
Cisco SFP-10G-SR-S: The Cisco 10GBASE-SR module supports a link length of 26 meters on standard Fiber Distributed Data Interface (FDDI)-grade multimode fiber (MMF). Using 2000 MHz km MMF (OM3), link lengths up to 300 meters are possible. Using 4700 MHz km MMF (OM4), link lengths up to 400 meters are possible.
