For wiring closets that need many wired data ports and room to grow, the seller refurbished Cisco Catalyst C9300-48T-E (Network Essentials version) offers 48 Gigabit RJ45 ports, a module slot for uplinks, and stacking for up to eight switches.
- Uplinks that scale with the core: Move from a C9300-NM-4G (4x 1G) to C9300-NM-8X (8x 10G/1G), C9300-NM-2Y (2x 25G/10G/1G), or C9300-NM-2Q (2x 40G) as demand rises. C9300-NM-4M gives 4x Multigigabit.
- Cables for short or long runs: Up to eight Catalyst 9300 switches stack over 480 Gbps cables in 0.5m, 1m, or 3m lengths. Catalyst 9300X models can join; fixed-uplink 9300L and Catalyst 3850/3650 switches cannot.
- Compute and flash: The switch carries 8 GB of memory and 16 GB of flash, plus a USB 3.0 slot for an SSD of up to 240 GB.
- Peak draw with a 10G module: Fitted with a C9300-NM-8X, Cisco's published measurements show 91.0W with no link and 120.9W at full-port traffic at 115V. No PoE is offered.
Compare: Need PoE+ for phones and access points? The C9300-48P-E adds 437W of PoE from its default supply. Want fixed 1G uplinks? The C9300L-48T-4G-E has four 1G SFP uplinks.
