Cisco WS-X6708-10G-3CXL is an 8-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet module for Catalyst 6500 and Cisco 7600 series switches. Each port supports X2 transceivers, providing high-speed connectivity. The included DFC3CXL accelerates packet processing with local forwarding decisions.
This module fits any slot in the Cisco Catalyst 6503-E, 6504-E, 6506, 6506-E, and 6509 models, including -E and NEB-A versions—within a Cisco Catalyst 6513 or Cisco 7613 chassis, it must reside in slots nine through thirteen only. Also, fully compatible with the Cisco 7604, 7606, and 7609 chassis systems.
Designed to enhance switching capacities within large-scale deployments requiring multiple ten-gigabit connections while maintaining efficient data transmission across networking architectures where throughput matters most.
