The Arista CAB-Q-S-0.5M is a 40GB QSFP+ to 4x 10GB SFP+ breakout cable designed for high-speed data transmission in short-range applications. This direct attach passive copper cable measures 0.5 meters, making it suitable for rack-to-rack or adjacent device connections with low latency and minimal power consumption.
The QSFP+ connector on one end supports a single-port connection at 40Gbps. In contrast, the four SFP+ connectors distribute bandwidth into separate 10Gbps links to compatible devices such as switches or servers within data centers or enterprise networks.
