Extreme 5420F-48P-4XE by Extreme Networks is a high-density patch panel designed for data centers or network closets. This 1U form factor device offers 48x 1GB PoE RJ45 interfaces and includes four additional integrated 10GB SFP+ ports for higher-speed connectivity.
The switch supports dual power supplies, with one fixed internal massive AC PSU included in the base configuration. To add redundancy and ensure continuous operation, users can install an optional second XN-ACPWR-920W power supply unit. This feature-rich solution caters to demanding networking requirements while providing flexibility in terms of port count configurations and reliable power delivery options for critical operations.
