The Cisco CWDM-SFP-1570 is a 1 Gigabit Ethernet SFP transceiver supporting coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM). Operating on a single-mode fiber (SMF) connection, it uses an LC/PC connector and functions at a 1570nm wavelength.

The module supports data transmission up to 80 km, depending on the link budget, and complies with industry standards for interoperability. Hot-swappable design enhances maintenance efficiency by enabling replacement without network disruptions. Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) provides real-time monitoring of parameters such as optical output power, input signal strength, temperature, and supply voltage.
