The Cisco Meraki MA-QSFP-40G-SR-BD is a QSFP+ transceiver module with 40 Gbps transmission speed. It uses the 850 nm wavelength and supports BiDi operation over multimode fiber via single-strand LC connectors in a 40GBASE-BiDi form factor.
This module enables short-range links up to 150 meters (490 feet) on OM4 MMF using just one strand per link, conserving fiber infrastructure. Compatible with standard QSFP+ ports supporting the BiDi specification, it requires no separate power supply as it draws from the host system's interface card or switch port.
