The HPE Aruba R8Q71A is a fixed form factor switch by Hewlett Packard Enterprise, featuring 36x 1Gb PoE++ RJ45 ports, 12x 5Gb PoE++ RJ45 ports, and 4x 10Gb SFP+ interfaces. It supports switching speeds up to 272 Gbps.
This model includes an internal packet buffer of 8 MB and provides forwarding rates up to 130.9 Mpps with latency as low as 2.28 μSec at 1 Gbps or 1.46 μSec at 10 Gbps. Total port count is optimized for mixed-speed deployments requiring both standard gigabit Ethernet and higher multi-gig capabilities via PoE++.
