Which generation do I need?
Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax): AP12, AP32, AP33, AP43, AP63 and AP64. The proven choice for offices, schools, hotels and warehouses, and the easiest to source in quantity.
Look for the model family in the part number: AP1x are wall-plate units, AP3x are general indoor, AP4x are high-density indoor, and AP6x are outdoor. An E after the number means external antenna connectors, and -US means the unit is set for the US regulatory domain.

Do Juniper Mist access points need a subscription?
Yes. Mist APs are managed from the Juniper Mist cloud, which requires a Mist subscription purchased separately from Juniper or a Juniper partner.
Are these units unclaimed?
Yes. Each AP ships unclaimed, so you can claim it into your own Mist organization with its claim code.
Can Mist APs work alongside Juniper EX switches?
Yes. Mist manages EX switches and access points from the same dashboard, and the EX4100 and EX4400 supply PoE for these APs.
