ConnectX generations we carry

• ConnectX-7: 200 and 400 Gb/s on OSFP and QSFP112, PCIe Gen 5.0 (MCX75x series).
• ConnectX-6: 100 and 200 Gb/s QSFP56 (MCX653, MCX654), plus ConnectX-6 Dx (MCX623) and ConnectX-6 Lx 25 Gb/s (MCX631), PCIe Gen 3.0 or 4.0.
• ConnectX-5: 100 Gb/s QSFP28, single and dual port (MCX515, MCX516, MCX555, MCX556).
• ConnectX-4 and ConnectX-4 Lx: 10, 25, 40/56 and 100 Gb/s (MCX41x, MCX45x), the lowest-cost option.

Choosing a card

• Match the port to your switch: SFP28 for 25 GbE, QSFP28 for 100 GbE, QSFP56 for 200 GbE, OSFP or QSFP112 for 400 GbE.
• Match the slot: check the PCIe generation and lane width (x8 or x16) in the title against your server.
• Ethernet or InfiniBand: some ConnectX models support both (VPI), others are Ethernet only. The part number decides; ask us if you are unsure.

Frequently asked questions

Is a Mellanox ConnectX card the same as an NVIDIA ConnectX card?
Yes. NVIDIA acquired Mellanox in 2020, and the part numbers did not change.
