Edgecore Networks, part of Accton Technology, makes bare-metal open networking switches. The models below are ONIE-configured (the O in the part number): ONIE is an installer for loading a compatible network operating system such as Cumulus Linux. Each listing states what is installed on that unit. The AS4610 was also sold by Mellanox, and our AS4610 and AS5812 listings carry the Mellanox Edgecore name. Reading the part number

O means ONIE-configured. AC is AC power; 48V is -48V DC power. F is port-to-power airflow (front-to-back) and B is power-to-port airflow (back-to-front).

Which one do I need?

AS4610 for 1GbE management or access networks, with PoE+ on the 54P. AS5812-54T for 10GbE copper servers and AS5610-52X for 10GbE fiber servers with 40GbE uplinks. AS5912-54X for 10GbE to 100GbE aggregation; AS5916-54XM when you need MACsec encryption on the 10GbE ports or a deep-buffer carrier aggregation router. AS7712-32X for a 100GbE spine.
