Look for the model family in the part number: AP1x are wall-plate units, AP3x are general indoor, AP4x are high-density indoor, and AP6x are outdoor. An E after the number means external antenna connectors, and -US means the unit is set for the US regulatory domain.

Yes. Mist APs are managed from the Juniper Mist cloud, which requires a Mist subscription purchased separately from Juniper or a Juniper partner.

Can Mist APs work alongside Juniper EX switches?
