These access points claim into a Meraki dashboard and run. We test this on an ongoing basis against the current Meraki dashboard, and every unit is bench tested by our technicians before it ships. A newly claimed unit operates for 30 days under Meraki's licensing grace period; for continued use, apply a Meraki MR Enterprise licence, which is not model-specific.

Meraki support status

• MR55: still supported by Meraki until August 1, 2027 (end of sale April 7, 2022).
• MR45: Meraki support ended July 21, 2026 (end of sale July 21, 2021). Meraki no longer provides technical support, firmware updates or warranty replacement for it, and does not guarantee dashboard connectivity indefinitely.
