Which version do I need?

Choose the 72x for the most 10 Gigabit fiber ports in one rack unit. Choose the 48x-4q when you also need 40 Gigabit uplinks to a spine or core. Choose the X670V-48t when servers connect over 10GBASE-T copper. FB in a part number means front-to-back airflow. Match the power supplies and fans to the switch's airflow.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the X670V and the X670-G2?
The X670-G2 is the second generation, with higher 10GbE port density and support for newer ExtremeXOS releases. The X670V is the earlier model and a low-cost spare for existing X670 networks.

Can the X670-G2 be stacked?
Yes. It supports SummitStack, so several switches can be managed as one.
