Arista DCS-7280CR3MK-32D4S-F by Arista Networks is a 1U fixed-configuration switch with 32 × 100GbE QSFP28 ports and 4 × QSFP-DD ports supporting up to 400GbE per interface. It provides line-rate Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching and hardware-based MACsec encryption on supported ports.
This front-to-back airflow model is designed for high-density spine or leaf deployments requiring 100GbE and 400GbE aggregation. The 32 QSFP28 ports support breakout options for 40GbE and 4 × 25GbE connections, while the QSFP-DD ports enable higher uplink capacity. MACsec support allows encrypted data transport across compatible links. The switch runs Arista EOS and supports common data center protocols, including BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, and MLAG. It is rack-mountable in standard 19-inch cabinets and uses redundant, hot-swappable power supplies and fan modules for serviceability.
