The Cisco Meraki MR53-HW is the top Meraki Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac Wave 2) indoor access point, managed from the Meraki cloud dashboard, for the densest indoor spaces: auditoriums, lecture halls, conference centers, and large open offices.

It runs 4x4 MU-MIMO on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, for up to 2.5 Gbps combined radio rate, plus a dedicated scanning radio for security and RF analytics, and a Bluetooth Low Energy radio. It has two Ethernet ports: one 2.5 Gbps multigigabit port and one Gigabit port (RJ45). It needs 802.3at PoE+ (21 W maximum) or a 12 V DC adapter.

Cisco lists July 21, 2026, as the end of support. The MR53 can still be claimed and runs in the Meraki dashboard, and we test every unit to confirm it, so you get 4x4 on both bands at a very low price.
