The Cisco Meraki MR46E-HW is the external-antenna version of the MR46, a high-performance Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point managed from the Meraki cloud dashboard. Choose it when a standard AP's built-in antennas won't do the job: warehouses, factory floors, gyms, auditoriums, lecture halls, and other high-ceiling or oddly shaped spaces where you need to aim coverage with directional or sector antennas.

It runs 4x4:4 on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, for up to 2.98 Gbps combined radio rate, plus a dedicated dual-band radio that scans full-time for security threats and RF interference, and a Bluetooth Low Energy radio. It connects through a 2.5 Gbps multigigabit uplink (RJ45) and runs on 802.3at PoE+ (30 W maximum) or a 12 V DC adapter.

Antennas are not included. The MR46E works with the Meraki MA-ANT-3 series (A6, B6, C6, D6, E6 and F6), so you pick the pattern that fits the space.
