The Cisco Meraki MR74-HW is an outdoor and industrial Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac Wave 2) access point managed from the Meraki cloud dashboard. It is IP67 rated and runs from -40 to 131 F (-40 to 55 C), for parking lots, courtyards, campuses, stadium concourses, warehouses, and factory floors.

It runs 2x2 MU-MIMO on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, for up to 1.3 Gbps combined radio rate, plus a dedicated scanning radio and a Bluetooth Low Energy radio. It has four N-type antenna connectors and works with the Meraki MA-ANT-20, 21, 23, 25, and 27 antennas, so you can choose omni, sector, or patch coverage. It has one Gigabit Ethernet port (RJ45) and draws only 11 W, so it runs on standard 802.3af PoE.

Antennas are sold separately; we list the compatible antennas and the MA-MNT-MR-7 wall and pole mount alongside it. Cisco lists July 21, 2026, as the end of support. The MR74 can still be claimed and runs in the Meraki dashboard, and we test every unit to confirm it, which makes it a very low-cost way to cover outdoor space. Sold unclaimed.
