The Cisco QDD-2X100-LR4-S is a QSFP28 transceiver supporting 200 Gbps transmission over dual duplex CS connectors. Manufactured by Cisco, it operates across wavelengths from 1295 nm to 1309 nm and uses single-mode fiber (SMF) for distances up to 10 km.
This module supports two independent bidirectional channels of 100 Gbps each via PAM4 modulation and complies with the IEEE P802.3bs standard for long-range optical communication. It connects through an MPO-based Dual Duplex CS interface suited for high-density data center applications requiring extended reach links using SMF cabling. The hot-swappable design allows installation into compatible QSFP-DD ports without powering down devices or affecting traffic on adjacent ports.
