The device includes one VIM card module slot compatible with optional modules such as the Summit X460-G2 VIM-2q (40G), VIM-2x (20G), VIM-2t (dual copper links at higher speeds), or the fiber-focused VIM-2ss model for additional versatility but requires separate ordering. Its MAC address table can scale efficiently, supporting large-scale deployments.
