The Cisco Meraki MA-MNT-MR-10 is the replacement mounting kit for the Meraki MR84 outdoor access points. It holds the access point on a wall or a pole and is the same style of hardware Meraki ships with a new outdoor unit.
The kit includes the mounting hardware for wall and pole installation; contents are not itemized by Meraki, so check the photos for exactly what is included. Outdoor mounts also ground the access point and seal the cable entry, so use the supplied hardware rather than an indoor bracket. The MR84 box itself ships with a mount cradle, wall screws and anchors, grounding screws, and mounting straps for poles under 3.9 inches.
A mount kit is the usual fix when a used or refurbished outdoor access point arrives without its bracket, or when an access point is moved to a new pole or building. Brackets are model-specific, so match the kit to the access point model before ordering. Follow the Meraki installation guide for torque and grounding.
