Cisco Meraki MA-PWR-250WAC 250W AC PSU for MX250 and MX450 Firewalls

The Cisco Meraki MA-PWR-250WAC is a 250W AC hot-swap power supply. One part number serves two product lines: Meraki lists it as the power supply for the MX250 and MX450 security appliances, and the MS family data sheet lists it for the non-PoE MS250-24, MS250-48, MS350-24, and MS350-48 switches and the MS410 and MS425 aggregation switches.

Input is 100 to 240 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz. The 250W output covers system power only, with no PoE budget, which is why the PoE models of the MS250 and MS350 use the 640W or 1025W supplies instead.

These appliances and switches take two power supplies. A second unit gives redundancy, so the device keeps running if one supply or one circuit fails, and a failed supply can be swapped without powering down. Fit the two supplies to separate circuits or UPS units where possible. Power cords are sold separately. Check the label on the installed supply before ordering a spare.
