NEW Cisco Meraki MG21-HW-NA MG21 Series Cloud Managed Unclaimed Cellular Gateway

The Cisco Meraki MG21-HW-NA is a cloud-managed cellular gateway, North America version, with an integrated CAT 6 LTE modem rated at 300 Mbps. It turns a cellular connection into a wired Ethernet uplink for a Meraki MX or any third-party router, as the primary WAN where no wired service exists or as a backup for failover.

It has two Gigabit RJ-45 LAN ports and supports two separate downstream router connections, so both appliances in a high-availability MX pair can share one cellular link. A Nano (4FF) SIM slot takes the carrier SIM. The North America version supports LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 12, 13, 17, and 29.

Power comes from a 12V DC adapter or from 802.3af PoE on the LAN side, with a maximum load of 10W; the MA-PWR-30W adapter and MA-INJ-4 injector are sold separately. The unit is 6.3 inches square and 1.4 inches high and weighs 1.1 lb, so it can be placed where the cellular signal is strongest, away from the router. The gateway is sold unclaimed; a Meraki license is required, purchased separately.
