NEW Cisco Meraki MR36-HW Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax Internal Ant Unclaimed WAP w/ Mounts

The Cisco Meraki MR36 is an indoor Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point managed from the Meraki Dashboard. It has a 2.4 GHz and a 5 GHz client radio, each 2x2 MU-MIMO with 2 spatial streams and OFDMA, for an aggregate frame rate of up to 1.5 Gbps, with 1,201 Mbps on 5 GHz and 286 Mbps on 2.4 GHz.

A third dual-band radio runs WIDS/WIPS, spectrum analysis, and location analytics full time, and a fourth radio handles Bluetooth Low Energy beacons and scanning. Internal omnidirectional antennas give 5.4 dBi of gain on 2.4 GHz and 6 dBi on 5 GHz.

The uplink is one Gigabit RJ-45 port. Power is standard 802.3af PoE at 37 to 57V with a 15W maximum draw, or a 12V DC adapter sold separately. The unit measures 9.84 x 4.72 x 1.42 inches and weighs 17.35 oz. The MA-MNT-MR-17 mount kit is included for desk, wall, or ceiling installs.

For 4x4 on 5 GHz and a 2.5GB uplink, see the MR44-HW. A spare MA-MNT-MR-17 mount kit fits this AP, and the MA-INJ-4-US 802.3at PoE+ injector powers it where there is no PoE switch. The access point is sold unclaimed; a Meraki license is required, purchased separately.
