The Cisco Meraki MR76 is an outdoor Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point managed from the Meraki Dashboard. It has a 2.4 GHz and a 5 GHz client radio, each 2x2 MU-MIMO with 2 spatial streams and OFDMA, for an aggregate frame rate of up to 1.5 Gbps. A third dual-band radio handles WIDS/WIPS and location analytics, and a fourth radio handles Bluetooth Low Energy.
The AP ships without antennas. Its four N-type connectors take Meraki's outdoor antennas: the MA-ANT-20 dual-band omni, the MA-ANT-21 5 GHz and MA-ANT-23 2.4 GHz sectors, the MA-ANT-25 dual-band patch, and the MA-ANT-27 dual-band sector. The housing is rated IP67.
The uplink is one Gigabit RJ-45 port on standard 802.3af PoE, with a 15W maximum draw, so most PoE switches can power it. The unit measures 11.81 x 6.02 x 2.16 inches and weighs 2.95 lb, and the MA-MNT-MR-16 wall and pole mount kit is included.
For all-around coverage, add the MA-ANT-20 N-type dual-band omni antenna set; to aim it, the MA-ANT-25 dual-band patch. For 4x4 radios and a 2.5GB uplink, see the MR86-HW. A spare MA-MNT-MR-16 mount kit fits this AP. The access point is sold unclaimed; a Meraki license is required, purchased separately.
