The Cisco N9K-C92348GC-X is a 1RU Nexus 9200 switch with 48x 100M/1GB RJ45 ports, 4x 1/10/25GB SFP28 ports, and 2x 40/100GB QSFP28 uplinks. It runs Cisco NX-OS and is often used as a management network switch, connecting server out-of-band ports and other 1GB devices in the data center.

Cisco lists 696 Gbps of switching capacity, over 517 Mpps, a 40MB buffer, a 4-core CPU, 8GB of DRAM, a 16GB SSD, and a 97,000-entry MAC table. Management connections include RJ45 and SFP ports, an RS-232 console, and a USB port. It takes two hot-swap power supplies and three hot-swap fans, and the airflow is set by the fans and power supplies installed. This unit is configured for front-to-back airflow (port-side intake).

The SFP28 and QSFP28 ports give the switch 25GB and 100GB uplinks, so a management network can connect to the production fabric without a separate aggregation layer.
