The Cisco N9K-C9348GC-FXP is a 1RU Nexus 9300-FX switch with 48x 100M/1GB RJ45 ports, 4x 1/10/25GB SFP28 ports, and 2x 40/100GB QSFP28 uplinks. It runs Cisco NX-OS or ACI and serves as a 1GB copper leaf, often for management networks and older servers inside an ACI fabric.
Cisco lists 696 Gbps of switching capacity, over 517 Mpps, a 40MB buffer, a 4-core CPU, 24GB of DRAM, a 128GB SSD, and a 512,000-entry MAC table. Management connections include RJ45 and SFP+ ports, an RS-232 console, and a USB port. It takes two hot-swap power supplies and three hot-swap fans, and the airflow is set by the fans and power supplies installed. This unit is configured for front-to-back airflow (port-side intake).
Supported power supplies include 350W AC and 440W DC units, each in port-side intake and port-side exhaust versions. Cisco offers both a 4-post and a 2-post rack kit for this model.
