Arista QSFP-100G-DR is a 100GBASE-DR single lambda QSFP28 transceiver from Arista, supporting 100 Gigabit Ethernet over duplex single-mode fiber. It provides a 100 GbE optical interface with LC connectivity and supports link distances up to 500 m on SMF.
The module uses PAM4 modulation on a single wavelength and operates over standard duplex single-mode fiber cabling. It is designed for QSFP28 ports in Arista switches and other compliant platforms that support 100GBASE-DR optics. The transceiver is hot-swappable and powered through the host QSFP28 interface. Typical applications include short-reach 100 GbE links between switches, aggregation layers, and high-density data center interconnects requiring up to 500 m reach over existing duplex SMF cabling.
