The Arista Networks DCS-7280SR3K-48YC8-F is a 1U rack-mount data center switch with 48 × 25 GbE SFP28 ports and 8 × 100 GbE QSFP28 uplink ports. It supports wire-speed Layer 2 and Layer 3 forwarding with front-to-rear airflow design.
This model is part of the 7280R3 series and runs Arista EOS with support for advanced routing features, VXLAN, and MPLS. The 48 SFP28 ports support 10 GbE and 25 GbE operation, while the 8 QSFP28 ports support 40 GbE and 100 GbE, providing flexible uplink configurations. The switch uses redundant hot-swappable AC or DC power supplies and hot-swappable fan modules. It is designed for high-density leaf or spine deployments in data centers requiring large routing tables and low-latency switching.
