Overview

Arista FAN-7011H-R is a hot-swappable fan module manufactured by Arista Networks for the 7280R3 Series switches. It is a field-replaceable unit with back-to-front airflow, designed to maintain proper thermal conditions within compatible chassis. The module installs in the dedicated fan bay of supported 7280R3 systems.

This fan module supports chassis-level cooling requirements in 7280R3 Series switches and operates as part of a redundant fan configuration, depending on the switch model. It is powered directly by the host switch and can be replaced while the system remains operational. The back-to-front airflow direction must match the installed power supplies to ensure correct airflow alignment within the chassis.
