The HPE Aruba JW178A AP-275 is an outdoor wireless access point from Hewlett Packard Enterprise. It features a ruggedized form factor and supports dual-radio 3x3:3 MIMO for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. Interfaces include IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, with a maximum transmission speed of up to 1.3 Gbps.
This unit operates in harsh environments using Power over Ethernet (PoE) or direct DC power input options. Designed for pole or wall mounting, it includes integrated antennas suitable for wide coverage areas such as campuses or industrial yards. Supports standard WLAN protocols including WPA/WPA2 security formats and can interoperate within multi-vendor networks through common data link standards like IEEE 802 series specifications.
