The Cisco Meraki MA-ANT-3-E6 is an indoor dual-band wide patch antenna with 6 RP-TNC ports, one for each antenna port on a 6-port Meraki external-antenna access point. Each element has 7 dBi of gain on 2.4 GHz and 6.3 dBi on 5 GHz, with a 60 by 60 degree beam.

A patch antenna aims coverage in one direction instead of all around. Mounted high on a wall, it covers the floor area in front of it, which suits warehouses, auditoriums, gyms, and long rooms where a ceiling-mounted omni access point would spread signal into the walls and the space next door. The antenna measures 10.8 x 10.8 x 0.9 inches and weighs 2.6 lb.

Meraki lists the MA-ANT-3-E6 for the MR53E. The antenna has a surface mount nut and works with the MA-MNT-ANT-1 or MA-MNT-ANT-2 brackets. Every port on the access point needs to be connected, so match the 6-port antenna to a 6-port AP; the MA-ANT-3-A6 six-pack of dipoles is the omni alternative for the same AP.
