NEW Cisco Meraki MA-MNT-MR-18 Mounting Kit for MR46E Series Access Point

The Cisco Meraki MA-MNT-MR-18 is the replacement mounting kit for the Meraki MR46E indoor access point, the external-antenna version of the MR46. It lets the MR46E be installed on a drop ceiling, on a solid ceiling, or on a wall, with the same hardware Meraki ships in the box with a new access point.

The kit includes a replacement mount plate, drop-ceiling clips, two 6-32 x 4 mm screws for flush T-rails, two 6-32 x 7 mm screws for recessed T-rails, two rubber spacers, two wall screws with anchors, security screws, and the security screw tool. The clips fit most 9/16, 15/16, and 1.5-inch T-rails.

A mount kit is the usual fix when a used MR46E arrives without its bracket or when it moves to a different ceiling type. The security screws lock the access point to its plate in public spaces, so keep the tool with the site spares. The internal-antenna MR44, MR45, and MR46 use the MA-MNT-MR-15 instead.

The kit fits the MR46E-HW external-antenna access point; for antennas, see the MA-ANT-3-A6 dipole six-pack. For the MR44, MR45, and MR46, the MA-MNT-MR-15 mounting kit is the match.

This Cisco Meraki MA-MNT-MR-18 mounting kit is new and covered by the NetworkTigers one-year warranty. The original packaging may have been opened to inspect the contents.
