Cisco Meraki MA-PWR-150WAC Meraki MX105 Series 150W AC Firewall Power Supply

The Cisco Meraki MA-PWR-150WAC is the 150W AC power supply for the Meraki MX105 security appliance. Meraki lists it as the MX105 power supply in its MX accessories data sheet. The MX105 takes a second power supply for redundancy, so a spare unit lets the appliance keep running if one supply fails.

Do not confuse it with the MA-PWR-150WAC-ADP, a 150W external adapter for the MS130-8X switch. The two parts share a wattage but not a form factor, and they are not interchangeable.

A redundant power supply is worth adding where the MX105 is the only path to the internet for a branch or campus, since a single supply failure would otherwise take the site offline. Fit the second supply on two separate circuits or UPS units for the full benefit. This listing is for one power supply. A failed supply shows in the Meraki Dashboard, so a spare can be swapped in as soon as the alert appears. Power cords are region-specific and are not part of the supply itself.
