The Cisco Meraki MX105-HW is a 1U rack-mount security and SD-WAN appliance managed from the Meraki Dashboard. Its WAN side has two 10 Gigabit SFP+ ports and two 2.5 Gigabit RJ-45 ports, one with PoE+. The LAN side has four Gigabit RJ-45 ports and two 10 Gigabit SFP+ ports, plus a dedicated RJ-45 management port and a USB 3.0 port.
Meraki rates it at 5 Gbps stateful firewall throughput, 3.5 Gbps maximum VPN throughput, and 2.5 Gbps with next-generation firewall detection enabled. That places it above the MX95 for medium and large branches with multi-gigabit internet service.
Power comes from removable MA-PWR-150WAC AC power supplies, and the listed 10.74 lb weight is with two power supplies and two fans installed. The appliance draws 53W idle and 123W at full load. The chassis is 19 inches wide, 12.4 inches deep, and 1.73 inches high; the MA-RCKMNT-KIT-1 screw kit is optional and not included. The appliance is sold unclaimed; a Meraki license is required, purchased separately.
