The Cisco Meraki MA-PWR-50WAC is the 50W replacement AC power adapter for the Meraki Z3 and Z3C teleworker gateways. Its output is 54V DC at 0.92A, the rating Meraki gives for the adapter that ships in the Z3 box. It is an external brick that sits between the wall outlet and the gateway.
The Z3 has no internal power supply, so the adapter is a separate part that can go missing when a gateway is returned by a remote worker or moved to a different home office. The higher 54V output lets the gateway supply 802.3af PoE from one of its LAN ports to a desk phone or similar device.
Match the rating when replacing it. Lower-voltage 12V adapters from MX64-family appliances will not run a Z3, and the Z3 will not power its PoE port from a weaker supply. Meraki notes that the power cord for the Z3 adapter is ordered by region. The Z3 and Z3C use the same adapter, so one spare covers both models in a mixed remote-worker fleet.
