Addon for Meraki MA-SFP-10GB-SR-AO 10GB BASE-SR 850nm SFP+ Transceiver

The AddOn Networks MA-SFP-10GB-SR-AO is a 10GBASE-SR SFP+ optic made by AddOn and coded to be compatible with the Cisco Meraki MA-SFP-10GB-SR. It carries 10 Gigabit links over multimode fiber at 850nm, with a duplex LC connector and a reach of up to 300 meters.

AddOn states it is fully compatible with the Meraki MA-SFP-10GB-SR, so it fits the Meraki switches and security appliances that take that optic, including the MS125, MS130-X, MS225, MS250, MS350, MS355, MS390, MS410, and MS425 switch families and the MX95 through MX600 appliances. It supports digital optical monitoring, so the host can read temperature and optical power, and it is rated for 0 to 70 degrees C and TAA compliant.

Use it for 10 Gigabit uplinks inside one building, from a closet to the core or between switches in a data room. Both ends of the link must use 10GBASE-SR optics on multimode fiber. Meraki rates the SR optic for 300 meters on OM3 fiber and less on older OM1 and OM2 fiber.

For the Meraki part number, see the MA-SFP-10GB-SR. For single-mode runs up to 10 kilometers, the MA-SFP-10GB-LR fits, and the MS130-24X-HW switch takes this optic in its SFP+ uplinks.

This seller refurbished Addon MA-SFP-10GB-SR-AO transceiver is tested, working, and covered by the NetworkTigers one-year warranty.
