The NVIDIA Mellanox MFA1A00-E010 is a QSFP28 to QSFP28 active optical cable supporting 100 Gbps Ethernet. This 10 m cable uses an integrated active optical assembly in a QSFP28 form factor to provide high-speed data transmission over multimode fiber.
The MFA1A00-E010 is designed for 100 GbE switches, routers, and network interface cards equipped with QSFP28 ports. The active optical design reduces weight and cable bulk compared to copper assemblies while maintaining signal integrity over 10 meters. It operates as a plug-and-play interconnect with integrated transceivers on both ends and requires no external power supply.
