The NVIDIA Mellanox MFA1A00-E010 is a 10m active optical cable for EDR InfiniBand at 100Gb/s, with QSFP28 connectors on both ends. It links EDR InfiniBand switches and ConnectX adapters across racks and rows, where passive copper cables, which reach only a few meters at 100Gb/s, are too short.

An active optical cable has optics built into each connector and joined by fiber, so you don't need to buy or match separate transceivers.
