The NVIDIA Mellanox MQM8790-HS2R is a 200Gb/s HDR InfiniBand switch that connects compute and GPU servers in HPC and AI clusters. It provides 40 ports of 200Gb/s QSFP56 in a single 1U switch, or 80 ports of 100Gb/s HDR100 with splitter cables.
Choose the QM8790 when your fabric already runs a subnet manager on a server or on a managed switch. It costs less than the managed QM8700 and delivers the same 200Gb/s performance. It needs a front-to-back airflow rack.
