The NVIDIA Mellanox MQM9790-NS2F is a 1U, rack-mountable switch featuring 32 OSFP ports supporting up to 400 GbE transmission speeds. Manufactured by NVIDIA, this un-managed unit supports front-to-back airflow and is designed for high-bandwidth data center applications.
This model provides non-blocking line-rate connectivity across all ports with passive cooling design considerations. It uses an AC power supply configuration and requires compatible OSFP-based optics or cables for deployment. Designed primarily as part of NVIDIA’s Quantum network series, it functions within InfiniBand HDR environments but may interoperate in Ethernet-capable modes depending on firmware support.
