NEW Cisco Meraki MR84-HW Wi-Fi 5 802.11ac ExtAnt Unclaimed Outdoor WAP w/ Mounts

The Cisco Meraki MR84 is an outdoor Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac Wave 2) access point managed from the Meraki Dashboard. Both client radios are 4x4 MU-MIMO with 4 spatial streams, for an aggregate frame rate of 2.5 Gbps, with up to 1,733 Mbps on 5 GHz and 800 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. A third dual-band radio handles WIDS/WIPS and a fourth handles Bluetooth Low Energy.

The AP ships without antennas. It has four N-type female connectors and takes the MA-ANT-20 dual-band omni, MA-ANT-25 dual-band patch, or MA-ANT-27 dual-band sector antennas, plus Cisco's AIR-ANT2513P4M-N four-port patch. The housing is rated IP67 for outdoor and harsh indoor sites.

It has one 2.5 Gigabit multigigabit RJ-45 port and one Gigabit RJ-45 port. Full function needs 802.3at PoE+, at 21W maximum; 802.3af runs it in a restricted mode. It weighs 3.8 lb and mounts to walls and poles with the MA-MNT-MR-10 kit; some listings include the kit and some do not, and each listing's Model Name says which.

For all-around coverage, add the MA-ANT-20 N-type dual-band omni antenna set; for longer reach, the MA-ANT-27 dual-band sector. The MA-MNT-MR-10 mount kit fits this AP, and the MR86-HW is the Wi-Fi 6 step up. The access point is sold unclaimed; a Meraki license is required, purchased separately.
